Boots!

I am so happy to announce that I found some boots to fit my "large" calves! It's a happy day here. I was out shopping with the kids and bought my daughter the most gorgeous boots at Forever 21 - I tried them on to no success. But she loved them and who am I to deny the girl great boots? Did I mention they were only $40? So she loves them, and me, and is happily wearing them today.

So of course I was a bit jealous that she had new boots and I didn't. We continued out the mall and happened into ALDO. I looked around a bit and was approached by a beautiful and thin associate. Of course. So I swallowed my pride and admitted "I have large calves!!", do you have any boots that might fit? She said no problem, she has a sister with muscular calves as well. Yes, my calves are pure muscle.... but wasn't she sweet to put it that way! Anyway, I tried on a pair of super cute boots, kinda biker, black, higher than the short boots I have currently, but lower than the knee. High enough to wear with the cute skirt I happened to buy that day too that screamed to be worn with boots. They were a bit pricier than my daughters, but really, my feet aren't changing anymore, and really, they weren't that badly priced at all.

I am a happy girl with new boots. I also went on a bit of a spree this morning and am the proud owner of toilet paper and coffee....and don't forget the much coveted juice boxes! Now I am off to spend even more money at the grocery store. I barely had enough stuff to make school lunches! Ah, the agony of school lunches. But that's.....another story.
